Everything must be taken apart to be cleaned and to refurbish the turntable
The heavy factory machine marks are sanded away
All aluminum parts are glass beaded with al ox 36 for a sparkled finish and then
cleared
Dust cover Plexiglas is discarded, to be replaced with real glass
A dark walnut stain brings out the features in the walnut, compared to the
factory brown look
Dust cover parts ready for lacquer
Plinth in the paint shop getting some 12 coats of lacquer
